The Pine Marten (as we call it in the United States), also known as the American Marten (Martes americana) is the family of Mustelidae, Weasels. They were almost wiped out due to over logging, but have made a complete recovery.
- Length: female 18-22 inches, male 20-25 inches
- Height: 6 inches
- Weight: female 1.5-1.8 pounds, male 1.6-2.8 pounds
